The world is undergoing a flash flood of information. As a student it’s not always easy to find your way. With these web based-courses on information literacy we would like to train you to find, select and evaluate information efficiently. These skills are not only important during your studies, for example for writing your thesis, but they also provide a basis for a lifetime of learning. It is also increasingly necessary to be able to hold your own in this growing information society.
You can choose between a basic course aimed at bachelor students or a more advanced version that is more specific to the various subjects. We strongly advise to follow the basic course first before you try the more advanced version.
Each course is built up out of a couple of modules that you can go through separately. Each module takes about? 15-20 minutes to complete. If it is necessary to have completed a certain module before you start another it will be mentioned under the heading required prior knowledge. To determine if you have understood the information given to you each module will be rounded off with a short test.
